The role

We are currently seeking an experienced senior/associate environmental scientist/planner to join the team in Brisbane on a Full Time or Part Time basis. With 10+ years’ experience, you will lead and assist in delivering complex environmental planning and/or environmental assessments for our key clients.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead and assist in the preparation high quality environmental reports and advice for clients
  • Lead and assist in the preparation of proposals
  • Undertake peer review of environmental reports and advice
  • Manage multi-disciplinary teams, including to coordinate and manage specialist sub-consultants
  • Develop, facilitate and enhance relationships with internal and external clients through effective business development.

Ideal applicants will have/be:

  • Degree qualified in environmental sciences, planning and/or engineering.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • A network of industry connections and ability to develop and maintain positive client relationships.
  • An ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders including government agencies.
  • Industry experience in the water sector.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of the relevant Queensland planning and environmental legislation is necessary.
