We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an Integrity Compliance specialist to join our global delivery team.
Working alongside other specialists and reporting into SMEC’s Group Counsel and Head Of Compliance, you will take an active role in identifying, sourcing and reporting on training that will go towards ensuring SMEC continues to achieve its integrity, compliance and best practice commitments.
From regular compliance monitoring and reporting, the holder of this role will provide guidance and assistance to SMECs global COOs, Divisional Compliance Delegates and other key stakeholders in ensuring that roles and responsibilities are carried out within SMEC’s Business Integrity Compliance framework.
With a track record of achievement in a similar role, you will have gained your experience in an international organisation and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change.
The ideal candidate will come from a legal and/or compliance background and have an active commitment to ensuring that business integrity is at the forefront of all that you do.
In addition, suitable applicants will have/be:
- Tertiary qualification in Law, Business or Accounting
- Business Integrity or similar compliance experience
- Knowledge of relevant laws and compliance practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience in preparing and delivering training
- Experience in undertaking audits and/or investigations preferred
- Exposure to international business operations preferred
- Ability to influence behaviour and manage process improvement projects
- Build trusting and productive relationships
- Submit reports of a standard requiring minimal correction
