      The Role

      Our fabulous Environment Team is growing with a wide range of interesting projects and sustainable design. We are a large multidisciplinary company with iconic projects across renewables, environmental studies, dam & hydropower, solar power projects, energy transition and in-land rail. 

      Our national team of social scientists provide insights which help our clients optimise projects, reduce their social risk profile, and enjoy increased support within the communities that will be affected either directly or indirectly by infrastructure projects, working collaboratively across the different offices.

      Due to continued business growth in NSW we are seeking an Associate/Senior Associate Scientist – Social Impact to join our high-performing team based in North Sydney. 

      With 10+ years’ experience, you will manage and ensure quality delivery of environmental and infrastructure projects with key clients across New South Wales and nationally.

      Your key responsibilities will be to:

      • Manage, deliver and drive entire projects from initial phase to completion.
      • Build and maintain effective relationships both internally and externally to ensure effective client management.
      • Deliver Social Impact Assessments and Social Impact Management plans within the infrastructure, water and resource sectors.
      • Proactively collaborate with the team to ensure commercial success of projects.
      • Prepare proposals and tenders and be actively involved in business development.

      Ideal applicants will have/be:

      • Tertiary qualifications in a related field
      • 10+ years' experience within a similar role
      • Well-developed technical knowledge in Environmental, Social Impact Assessments and Social Studies on large infrastructure projects
      • Experience working within a consultancy environment
      • Proven project management and client relationship management capability
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentations, business proposals, framework development and analytical skills
      • Experience working with government clients highly regarded
